1.Sony's mother has four children. The first child’s name is Summer. The second child’s name is Rainy. The third child’s name is Winter. What is the fourth child’s name?

The fourth child name is Sony as mother is named as Sony’s mother.


2. You have a 5 litre vessel and a 3 litre vessel. How would you measure out exactly   4 litre without using any other equipment.

–> First fill 3 litre vessel and pour it in 5 litre vessel.
–> Now 5 litre vessel has 3 litres in it.
–> Again fill 3 litre vessel and pour in 5 litre vessel.
–> As 5 litre vessel already has 3 litres in it, it can take only 2 more litres.
–> Now empty 5 litre vessel completely.
–> Pour 1 litre from 3 litre vessel into 5 litre vessel.
–> Again fill 3 litre vessel and pour these 3 litres into 5 litre vessel.
–> Now , 5 litre vessel has 1litre+ 3litre= 4litres in it.

3. A snail sits at the bottom of a 30 feet wall. Each hour it can climb 3 feet, but it then slips 2 feet. How long does it take to reach the top.

A: 28 hours.

In each hour snail climbs feet and drops 2 feet.
So, net distance it climbs is 3-2= 1 foot. So, in 27 hours it climbs 27 feet.
In 28th hour it climbs another 3 feet and reaches top of the wall before falling.
